The Kids Studio was founded in 2026 by American Kate Weber.
After ten years working as a nanny in Paris, spending her days crafting, playing, and teaching English through creative activities, Kate decided to start something of her own. Drawing on her American background and years of experience with children, she wanted to create spaces where kids could slow down, get a little messy, and be creative without pressure.
The idea behind The Kids Studio is simple: children learn best when they are doing. When they are making, moving, and using their hands, language learning comes naturally, along with beautiful works of art. And English becomes something they use, not something they study.
Right now, The Kids Studio runs pop-up art camps across Paris. This summer, we are based in a beautiful atelier in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Keep an eye out for where we’ll pop up next.
